Laura Paesano is a Long Island based photographer and owner of Laura Pea Photography. Her specialities are newborn and pet photography.

She graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University in 2010, earning a BA in Studio Art. In 2014, tired of having her friends trade her photo services for spaghetti dinners, she officially opened her photography business. She started as a newborn photographer, and decided to add pet photography to her repertoire in early 2016 after the loss of her beloved dog Basil.

Besides taking awesome photos, she enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles and making mostly unsuccessful attempts at growing her own vegetables. Her other hobbies include watching low budget horror movies and collecting candle snuffers.

She is the Suffolk County leader of the Long Island chapter of the Rising Tide Society, a group for local small creative business owners. She is a longtime member of the photography group 52Frames. She is also a proud member of the American Pet Professionals. 

Her photography style is a blend of both posed and candid shooting. She would love to help you document a beautiful moment in your family's history.
