It's always a fun time when Daniela of Who Lets Your Dog Out hosts one of her Yappy Hour events! Daniela is undertaking a very important and difficult task, to get Patchogue a much-needed dog park! This area is very dog-friendly and pups and their parents could really use a place to gather. Right now she's raising awareness and gathering input to demonstrate community interest and need for this venture. The Yappy Hour event was a fundraiser for their efforts! There were raffles, rescue groups, vendors, splash pads, a photo booth, and lots of fun for the dogs.
My fellow vendors besides the lovely Daniela were pet portrait artist Sydney Shurgin, Bark n Roll Dog Grooming, dog food and chew company Pet Wants, and rescue group Carol's Senior Pet Sanctuary.
I got my dog Gracey and my dog nephew Hopper some duck feet and lambs' ears from Pet Wants and they absolutely loved them. Sydney was offering $5 pet caricatures on the spot for pet parents, and I got her to do two for me, and they came out absolutely perfect!
