My heart melted a little when Christian’s mom told me why she wanted to book a photo session for her son. She wanted to gift the photos to her husband for his first Father’s Day. She especially wanted to try to recreate a special photo taken of him when he was a kid, of him with two Mickey Mouse stuffed toys. Being a big Disney lover, I was so glad she asked me to help her with this very sweet portrait session.
Christian did so well in the studio! Some kids have a tough time sitting up at seven months old, but he did a great job. I couldn’t get over his very inquisitive beautiful blue eyes. He really enjoyed pushing the Radio Flyer around, and that made for my favorite photo of the day.

I always love when clients give the gift of photography. It's so meaningful and that meaning will last for generations. Making a tradition of photos means the memories will go on way beyond our time. If you've been following my blog, you know that I've photographed just about every step of the way for twin brothers Vincent and Louis. I was honored to continue that by being there to photograph their baptism. If you've ever attended a christening, you know that it can be a stressful time for babies. A church at a baptism is almost never silent. But Vincent and Louis weren't contributing any of the noise that day, because they were all cried out from getting dressed at home! Being as dapper as they are is very difficult. Here are some of my favorite photos from their special day!

Little Miss Sophia here reminds me of a porcelain doll. She's got the cutest rosy cheeks and eyelashes that I'm very very jealous of. This is her first Christmas, and I'm so happy her parents brought her to my studio to document this special occasion. They even got involved for a few photos! I love audience participation :) Like a good model, Sophia even tolerated an outfit change, so we got double the cuteness.

Allow me to introduce you to Ethan! Ethan lives all the way down in Maryland. During his first trip to visit New York, he and his mom came by and we took some fun photos in the studio, and around my (still very dead from winter) yard! Ethan and I took quite a shine to each other, I have to say. He gave me fantastic smiles. Don't you just love those chubby cheeks? I'm sad to say that this beautiful boy had to go back to Maryland, and I miss him already! I can't wait for his next visit!

When I think of Peyton, I think of a little princess. She's such a sweetheart and she's the most stylish baby I know. She's always dressed to the nines, even down to her diaper cover! I was so glad to take photos of her to commemorate her first birthday. Even though she was tired from a tough time sleeping the night before, she still gave me some beautiful smiles.
