I'm excited to announce I'll be participating in a popup show this weekend in Wantagh! This event was put together by Nick Girimonte & Kristen Ghiraldi and features a bunch of my Long Island Film Club buddies. There will be photographers, graphic designers and even tattoo artists in attendance. It's taking place at the Workshop in Wantagh from 3pm-6pm.
I'll be selling 4x6 prints, 8x10 prints, framed 8x8 prints, framed 11x14s, and some mini snapshots. I'm also excited to be debuting a special session I'll now be offering. I first did a three-headed composite portrait of my dog for fun one year on Halloween. I photographed her in multiple different positions, looking straight on and looking to the left and right. I put a bunch of different shots into Photoshop and worked some of my editing magic on them and created this:

My nephew always loved this photo of her. He thought it was so funny. Once my sister adopted her dog Hopper, my nephew requested that I do a similar one to give his pup three heads. He even helped me get his attention to get the shots!
When I decided to do this event, I thought this kind of shot would be a fun thing to offer to my clients. I decided to see if I could make the same kind of thing work with different pets. I asked my boyfriend Connor if I could photograph his two beloved cats Cole and Selena. It turns out it was just as straightforward to do cats than to do dogs! I love how these came out!
Then I had my first session photographing a snake for my friend Dylan! I figured if I could do this shot with a snake, I could do it with any pet! This one was so much fun! Loki did amazing (more shots of this handsome guy to come soon on this blog!)
