Like the hurricane she was named after, Sandy is a force to be reckoned with. She is a powerful little ball of energy disguised as a dog, with one of the most bombastic and playful personalities I've ever encountered. I was so excited to have her and her mom come visit the studio for some portraits. I photographed her brother Jack last summer and I love how they look so much alike, even though there's no real biological relation. Sandy's mom Dina first saw and fell in love with her at the Wines and Canines fundraising walk benefiting Kent Animal Shelter that we've participated in for the past 3 years. She's just about a year old now and in September it will be her first "adoptiversary", the anniversary of when she first came home to her new family. It doesn't take a detective to see that she was the perfect fit for them :) Here are some of my favorite photos from Sandy's session! Schedule a session with your furbaby today!
