Ashley got in touch with me for 10th birthday photos for her pup Shasta. Shasta is a beautiful and sweet Husky. Ashley went all out with decorations to bring to celebrate her pup. She called herself a "crazy dog mom" but I said that crazy dog moms are my favorite people! She also brought along something very sentimental to the session. She put a framed photo of Shasta’s sister in some of the photos, her sweet pup Nanook that they lost tragically a few years ago. It was her birthday too so we wanted to honor her as well.
Shasta was such a good girl for her photos. She let us put necklaces, party hats and crowns on her and she didn’t mind one bit. Ashley even got in some of the photos with her sweet girl. I love when owners get in the shots with their pups. They are usually a little reluctant and then afterwards they’re so happy that they did. You can tell on a dog’s face how they relax when they’re next to their mom or dad.
