Lily’s dad Brandon is one of my oldest and best friends. We met in 9th grade in the cafeteria of our high school (he will try to tell you it was 8th grade, but don’t listen to his nonsense) and we’ve been friends ever since. I was so happy for him and his wife Richelle when they told me they were having a baby! When they brought little Lily into the studio, I was struck by the fact that she looks so much like Brandon! It’s like they shrunk his head and put it on a baby! We had a lot of fun during her session reminiscing about old times. I’ve seen Brandon at so many stages in his life, and being a husband and dad is definitely his happiest. Here are are some of my favorite photos from Lily’s session! Look out for more photos of Lily soon, because we just did her Christmas photos yesterday and they're too cute! Interested in a newborn session with me? Ok, so I'm going to prepare you for something unexpected. There won't be any babies or dogs in this post. I know, that's very unusual for me! But the adorable kids you're going to see do belong to my dog trainer Corinn of Coexisting Canine Dog Training! I felt a little strange to be visiting her back yard without my Gracey in tow to attend her doggy social group, but I had a great time getting to know her kids Sarah, Ethan and Jessica during our session. Even though the dogs weren't in the photos this time, the kids still had fun. At the end of the session they even had a spontaneous tennis ball fight with the abundant amount of them laying around the yard. Here are some of my favorite photos from that day! Stay in touch! Sign up for my email list here!My little nephew Seth could possibly be the most photographed baby on record. I haven't confirmed with the folks at the Guinness Book of World Records, but if our family's limited phone space and full memory cards are any indication, he's got a good shot at the title. I've been trying to get a good professional shot at every milestone, so his first Halloween certainly counts, especially because this is my favorite holiday! And of course, we had an outfit change in the middle of the shoot :) The first outfit is a glow in a dark skeleton shirt I bought him for his first Halloween, and the second is his first Halloween costume ever!! "...it's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man." "There's something you don't see every day." And of course, at Laura Pea Photography, the dogs always have to be involved... Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! |
