Here are some photos from a holiday mini session I did in my studio this season, with sisters Mia and Julianna. Holiday mini sessions last a half hour and are perfect when you just need a few shots in one outfit for a holiday card. This is an 8x8 collage I created for my client from the session. Collages are a good way to get a lot of variety without ordering a ton of prints. These make great gifts for grandparents, and look fantastic framed in a wall display going up your stairs, for instance.

It's not typical to get a beautifully warm day in November on Long Island. When you do get one, you take advantage of it and head to the beach! I shot this session with the Cameron Family at Robert Moses Beach, with the beautiful backdrop of sand, water and the Fire Island Lighthouse too! Apparently, a lot of other folks had the same idea. You can't tell from the photos, but the beach was packed. (Thank goodness for Photoshop's clone stamp tool). We walked along the paths, strolled the beach, and even built a snowman out of sand and shells. His name? Sandy, of course. This session shows that taking Christmas photos can be fun! Cruising the beach sure beats standing on line at the mall, huh? Think it's too late to shoot that Christmas card photo? That's ok! Take advantage of having the whole family in town and come in after Christmas for family portraits in all the new sweaters you got from Santa!
